Kelli Membreño – Broker / Owner
Kelli Membreño is the Broker/Owner of Libertad Real Estate. Kelli began her career in real estate nearly 10 years ago From the very beginning, Kelli saw a great necesity to help and educate the Hispanic Community in both commercial and residential real estate. She knew that through her love and knowledge of real estate and her bilingual language ability, she could provide an excellent service to the Hispanic Community. When Kelli began her career in real estate, she focused primarily on residential real estate, representing buyers and sellers. As her career advanced, Kelli was asked by one of her clients to help him find and negotiate a retail space for a Mexican Super Market.
This experience was forever changing for Kelli. Her world was opened up to a community of Hispanic business owners and eutrepreneurs that were extremely underserved. Most of them had no representation, could not fully understand due to the language barrier no had the slightest idea how to even start a business here in the United States. Kelli quickly became versed in Commercial real estate and became educated in the different permits/licences needed for each individual business to guide and direct her clients on what they needed specific to their type of business. As an entrepreneur herself, Kelli had personal experience opening businesses and the challenges that go with that. She wanted to provide her clients with the smoothest transition possible from finding a space or building to lease/buy to opening the doors.

Carmen J. Macias
As the only daughter of supportive and loving Mexican American parents who instilled into their children the” need to succeed” gene, I learned from a very young age that I would need to use my advantage of being a fluently bi-lingual Latina to assist others.
As a child I remember going to parent teacher conferences with my mother and having to translate what the teacher said to her, as well as in class with fellow students who didn’t quite understand or know how to express themselves to the teacher, I enjoyed the feeling of doing good for someone who just didn’t have the tools to do so themselves.
During my senior year at Bakersfield High School in Bakersfield, California I was hired as an Administrative Assistant in a Real Estate firm. There I assisted primarily the Broker, but also helped out all of the Realtors. The Broker who I assisted had enrolled me in many different sales classes. It was then that I learned that Real Estate was of great interest to me.
My family and I moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 2009 and took what I had learned in Real Estate and applied it to my career in Leasing; there I had been accredited for Top Sales Consultant and Most Helpful Team player. I quickly advanced to Lead Leasing Agent.
I joined Kelli Membreño and her team at Libertad Real Estate. I decided that I needed to go for the goal and become a Real Estate Professional!
My decision to take this journey and begin a career in Real Estate has been an excellent one. It is truly rewarding helping those in need of finding their perfect home and current/future business owners accomplish their dreams of having the perfect location for success!

Hi, my name is Veronica Martinez; I was born in Torreon Coahuila, Mexico in May of 1973. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters, and I can say that God couldn’t have placed me in a better family, I love my family with all my heart and I am so proud to be a part of it. I am also extremely proud to be a Mexican woman living here in the United States. I feel privileged to be able to communicate using my native language to Hispanics living here in the United States. I would describe myself as being a person who is extremely positive. I try to always see the positive even in a difficult situation. I think everybody comes to this world to accomplish a mission and I think my mission is to help my people.
My Husband and I, along with our children came here, to the United States approximately 10 years for business reasons and we fell in love with Indiana and the people here. We decided to stay, and without a doubt, I can say that it was an excellent decision.
I have a husband that I love so much and admire and his name is Luis and we have 3 beautiful children, Lety 15, Jose 14 and Natalia 9 months.
My career in Real Estate began years ago, I started as a Broker assistant, but my dream was to get my License to start my career in Real Estate. One year later I accomplished that dream (with God’s help) by earning my License and since November 2007 I been working for Libertad Real Estate. I am so happy with that decision and since then, my dream of representing and helping my people through real estate and translation has become a reality. I praise God for his help. Every day that I have been given is a blessing that I can help my clients. I love to see how happy they are to get their own home….just as my family and I were so grateful when we purchased our first home.
My motto is: treat each other as you want to be treated; everybody deserves to be treated with excellence.
Edgar Ibañez
Edgar Ibanez is originally from Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. He moved to the United States with his family after finishing High School. He like many other foreign travelers came in the search of the American Dream. Although missing his native country, Edgar was immediately in love with the United States and all of the opportunity that was available to him.
After being in the country for a short period of time, Edgar began attending a local university to work on the mastery of the English language. Although, he could communicate in English, his skills were very limited. He knew that the only way he could advance professionally in his life was to become proficient in the English language so that he could communicate in his newly found country.
While going to school and working full time, Edgar decided that he wanted more from life. An entrepreneur through and through, Edgar began a small company buying and selling cars. He also formed an auto repair/service company with his father and brother. There focus and expertise was mainly on European vehicles such as BMW, Audi, Porsche, etc…Because of the companies bilingual marketing, in both Spanish and English, they grew quickly and had a diverse clientele of both native Spanish speakers and English speakers.
While having an immense passion for cars, Edgar also began seeing a great opportunity to invest in the real estate market. He began buying, selling and renting properties to clients. He noticed the great demand for housing in the Hispanic market. He was so impressed with how many Hispanic Clients he had, that he decided to start focusing on that market. It was a way to use his language to help others with their real estate needs and create a strong business model.
Today, Edgar has a partnership interest in a Latino based Banquet Hall facility as well as a Restaurant Bar in the Indianapolis area. He is also a Bilingual Marqueting Consultant with Libertad Real Estate. He joined the company as way to grow the residential aspect of his business. Edgar also helps other business owners find commercial space for their business. He especially enjoys helping Clients who are looking to open auto repair/body shops, car lots, industrial warehousing and restaurants.
Edgar’s motto in life is: Some people dream of success while others wake up and work hard at it.
